Granny's "BESTEST" Quickie Banana Pudding Recipe

How you doing out there in blog reading land?
Well folks we made it through Thanksgiving didn’t we?

I really enjoyed cooking and now I’m looking forward to the Christmas meal. Yea I know, what your thinking but you have to understand I really enjoy cooking on Holidays. My Bestest, Mostest and Greatest friend in the whole world” Glenna say’s I get so happy when I’m cooking that I am almost giddy acting, kinda like a kid with a new toy!

Anyhow I haven’t been posting anything because I have been really, REALLY beat down, dog sick! Yup once again I have been ill, this time with Bronchitis and Pneumonia both at the same time, it’s been a rough few days and I will admit right now that I’m still sick. I cannot hardly talk and that I cough and gag constantly. My breathing sounds like something from a new food based Star Wars movie; "Luke, I am Darth Recipe Blogger and I am your father, search your casserole dish you know that it's true."

Its bad this time, no air makes Billy feel bad, bad I say!

Anyhow, today I have decided to post my Grandmother’s favorite “quickie” family Banana Pudding recipe. It’s really a good one and has a taste that will beat any other instant pudding based Banana Pudding, hands down, trust me I’m your favorite fat guy, I know! The cream cheese is really what makes this recipe, so try it out and I am sure you will love it as much as I do.

So, here we go with "Granny's Bestest Quickie Banana Pudding Recipe."

The Store Bought Stuff: (Ingredients)

1-3.4 oz. package instant Banana pudding mix
1-3.4 oz. package instant French Vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 5 bananas
1- 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
1- 8oz package whipped cream
1- box Vanilla wafers

Putting It All Together: (Preparation)

Line bottom of a 9"X13"dish with Vanilla wafers then sliced bananas.

Whip cream cheese in a large bowl with hand mixer or a stand up, what ever you got!

Add both the pudding mixes, vanilla extract, milk, condensed milk and beat it till smooth.

Fold in half of whipped cream to the above mixture.

Pour mixture over bananas and vanilla wafers.

Top with remaining whipped cream and crumbled Vanilla wafers.

Chill for about 2-3 hours and consume this puppy, cause it's really good and won't last long.

P.S. Here's a little thing you can try I like to do, I like to include a layer of fresh strawberries or blueberries with the banana's then throw some on top to add color, both of them taste really good and make this pudding like, like just AWESOME, if I say so myself!

Thanks for coming by and reading and if you enjoy this recipe please let me know how it was for you.
