Billy's Kicked Up And Grilled Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Onion and Mushroom Burgers

Hey y’all!

Today’s recipe is all about kicking up a good old fashioned burger on the backyard grill. With the holidays fast approaching I decided to share one of my “bestest” grilled burger recipes that I have kept a little secret.

Please do your family a favor and try this you will love it, trust me. I just love grilling burgers, chicken and other meats. But I tell you what nothing can kick up a burger like making one a stuffed burger with your own favorite ingredients. If you like something, say like cheese, just stuff it inside a grilled stuffed burger and wow its like ten times better and throw it in a bun and WAM-BAM it's a meal! Add some chips, baked beans and Cole Slaw and your butt is laying on the couch moaning because your so full, trust me I been there!

Kicked Up Grilled Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Onion and Mushroom Stuffed Burger

Ingredients:

2 pounds Fresh Ground Chuck
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. granulated garlic
8 slices bacon
2 Tbls. Worcestershire sauce
1 large onion – diced
1 pint button mushroom – sliced
1 pinch each of salt and pepper
1 cup Swiss cheese – shredded
4 hamburger buns
Lettuce, Tomato and Pickle – for garnish

Preparation:

1. Combine the ground chuck, salt, pepper, garlic and Worcestershire in a bowl and mix well. Form into eight 4 ounce patties and put aside.
2. Cook the bacon until crisp. Cool, chop and set aside as well.
3. Saute the onions and mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Add to the bacon and mix well.
4. Spoon the bacon, onion and mushroom mix on to the top of a burger patty and cover with cheese.
5. Cover this with another patty and seal the edges. Grill over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until desired “cookedness” is achieved.
6. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, pickles and condiments of choice.

Let me know if you liked it or not and please come back and check me out for more recipes soon.

Also "cookedness" is one of my favorite cooking non-words so just bare with me on that one!

LOL!!!!
