I’ve been doing this here blogging thing since 2006 or so. I have faced many a night alone in my home office staring at my computer screens and wondering what the heck I was gonna blog about this dang time. Honestly, ain’t nothing left to say, not in my brain anyhow.
It’s all been said before by me and many others, yea I said it, and this old trucks tank is empty and sputtering down the blogger highway about outta gas.
I’m boring as heck and have nothing to say worth listening to and I know it.
When you have a blog or vlog it calls to you and begs you to give it something to say to the world to help them learn something, anything from you and it. The blog readers want your words, the vlog watchers want to see you and hear your words and the need must be filled. What do you do when you can’t think of anything of value to add to the blogger world other than I went to the bathroom this morning and man that egg I hatched was “HUGE! THAT WAS A BIG BROWN POOPIE!!”
A couple years ago, when blogging was still unknown to quite a few people, a post title like these below were common to see, examples such as:
• I Changed My Babys Diaper Today...
• Bought Gas Today, DID YOU!?!
• Had A Cheeseburger From Mcdonalds!
• Titanic Sucked!
So on and so forth, you get the idea.
But what do you do when you look at your computer screen and think, “I got nothing to say at all.” Is this writers block? Or should I call it bloggers block?
What blocks your creative blogging and how do you get past it and back to blogging?
Heck y’all, I really need to know!?!
